ECW ; Extremity Re-Defined

Yet another WWE fury that’s spread through TV and Internet, ECW wrestling show owes it all to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania based Tod Gordon who ran it for 9 long years until the next person, Paul Heyman, declared bankruptcy in April 2001. Extreme Championship Wrestling or simply the ECW wrestling had already gathered a loyal fan base by that time, the cause that made World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) buying off its rights and its library and push further the showcase of different styles of professional wrestling.
The ECW wrestling show swung back with its full glory on June 13, 2006; this time, it was the Sci Fi Channel in the US, FOX8 in Australia and Sky Sports 3 in the UK who broadcasted it as a weekly television series. But it took WWE almost a year to promote ECW extreme championship wrestling after the start-over; the ECW One Night Stand (an annual ECW-brand event) had been the major icebreaker that made ECW wrestling a separate brand in June 2006 among the WWE programs. Thanks to the thoughts that eliminated the childish gimmicks and made it appropriate for the 18 to 35 male demographic and today, ECW extreme championship wrestling shows stand at par with RAW and SmackDown!
Add a bit of raunchiness and even the most boring flares with exuding enthusiasm. Though ECW extreme championship wrestling is a phenomenon by itself, but a little more doesn’t hurt, right? So the stage was set for the ECW girls to flash the gleaming skins and the divas of ECW wrestling (formerly, the Vixens) liked it all the more. A burning example would be the exhibitionist character Kelly Kelly, who started the striptease sessions (Kelly's Exposé) for the crowd on a weekly basis; later joined by fellow divas of ECW wrestling Layla El and Brooke Adams.
This time, the event was named Extreme Exposé and the three-piece dance troupe now performs weekly. A different song each week and a different costume to cover temporarily the ECW girls is where the catch used to lie, until recently (April 2007), the three along with Ashley, Torrie Wilson and Maryse filmed the music video of Throw It On Me by Timbaland, taking the sensation to soaring heights and turning a large chunk towards the ECW extreme championship wrestling ring – what it seems – forever.
